About Us
Pediatric Picnic is a non-profit youth organization based in Canada, created by and for future healthcare officers. We're here to bring us all together as a community, to teach about healthcare, and the different aspects of it, to help everyone pursuing this as a future career.
Whether you're just curious about medicine or already dreaming of the white coat, this is a place to learn, ask questions, and meet people on the same path. No hospital connections required.
Our mission
Pediatric Picnic was made to help all those on the medical journey, but especially for those on their journey to Pediatrics.
Pediatrics is full of so much hope, joy, and magic, and we wanted to start that right here, for teens aspiring to go into medicine.
Our name comes from the fact that a picnic is a calm, thoughtful, and social-oriented event, and we wanted to build that same environment for teens in med.
